The property itself is okay, but the location could be much better. It is right next to a major highway with no sound barriers, so noise can be an issue. There is also very little natural shade on the property, which makes the outdoor areas less comfortable.
The surrounding retail and food options are also limited, especially if you are looking for healthier choices. The area feels somewhat like a food desert unless you are relying mostly on fast food or less healthy options.
The gate system is... also inconsistent. Some days it works, and some days it does not. The bigger issue is the access method itself. Instead of a keypad or a system you can easily use while driving up, you have to wave a key card in the air and hope the scanner picks it up. The headline says it all. Sheara Beach is such an amazing property manager. When we were deciding what apartment complex to lease from, Sheara sold us. She addressed every one of our questions and when we asked questions about lighting in the apartments, she let us know what apartments would be the lightest and brightest to rent from (lighting has been a problem with prior apartments).
