The maintenance team is absolutely fantastic, and I can not say enough good things about them! Otherwise, everything else is very "meh." The events are scheduled often last minute and are extremely uninteresting, while the staff is very nice, they do little to help besides for renewal. Sound violations, parking violations, smoking within the building which allows smells to pass through other apartments, those are all never really addressed except for maybe one email if you're lucky. My resident experience has been truly remarkable. From the moment I moved in, I felt a sense of community and belonging. The welcoming atmosphere made it easy to connect with my neighbors, and I quickly found myself involved in various activities and events.

Apartments are nice. Fast maintenance. Nice location. Reasonably clean grounds. Probably one of the better communities in Ames for the price. They always have events for tenants too

My experience living at Westtowne has been great location for work commute and for close proximity to shopping and errands.
We are close to ISU for classes-
