About 1412 Chase Apartments
Ansonia completed a major renovation and re-tenanting of this foreclosed 56-unit mid-rise apartment building in Chicago’s Rogers Park neighborhood in less than 12 months. Ansonia executed the renovation of apartment interiors and upgrade of major... building systems while increasing occupancy from 60% upon acquisition to stabilized at 95%. The capital improvement program overseen by Ansonia included new windows with energy efficient low-e glass, new high-efficiency variable power steam boiler and pump, new hot water boiler and storage tanks, new 800 amp master electrical switch and riser distribution system, new reflective roof over tapered insulation, comprehensive tuckpointing of the brick and limestone exterior, and new elevator motor and controller. Ansonia refreshed the identity of this property by removing an ungainly old awning and dated textured stucco to reveal its elegant 1920s-era façade and articulated stone base, and implementing a complete makeover of the building lobby, hallways, and elevator cabs.

Don't Move Here
I have been living here for 4 months and it is horrible the hallways smell like mildew the elevators are not up to code the leasing office is never open on top of I have been waiting for a repair order for half of the things in my apartment since the day I moved in its a mosquito infestation so I can't open my windows and I have complained to management the few times when they were actually there which is usually during the 1st week of the month to collect rent and NOTHING has been done... WARNING DONT MOVE HERE

My Best Home in Chicago
I've lived in a studio at this unit for a yeat now and it's the best place I've lived in Chicago yet! It's right next to public transportation yet the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The building is only two blocks away from the beach and just a few blocks away from many great stores. The best part of this building is that utilities are covered! No dealing with the power comany or water bills, big plus for me. Building includes a laundry room and bike storage, it's even dog friendly!
You'll... be hard pressed to find a combination of amenities and affordable prices in the Rogers Park neighborhood, so it's definitely worth checking out.
