Home is located right in the middle of Minnetrista at the end of a cul-de-sac and over 4 acres on a fully recreational Lake for ultimate privacy/ serenity! Seating for meals is at a wooden dining room table, with stools lining the breakfast bar only a few feet away. Large glass windows provide scenic lake views as well as easy access to the side yard. Outside, Adirondack chairs and a steel table with a built in firepit welcome you to relax and gaze out at the water, perhaps just sitting back and enjoying the afternoon with a glass of wine. There's also a lush grassy lawn to enjoy outdoor games in the summer!
The large and open kitchen is fully equipped and ready for meal preparation. Stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, a, coffee maker, and a toaster. Cook up a hearty meal at the end of a long day of ice fishing in the winter or fishing in the summer (well known crappie lake in the state), or just put together some sandwiches for a picnic down on the lake. Also located on the main floor there is full bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and glass shower stall in the master bedroom and two additional bathrooms. Downstairs offers one full bathroom as well.
Upstairs, a lovely master bedroom facing Whaletail Lake, has a king bed and a sitting area tucked away in the corner. The master bathroom has double sinks and plenty of storage/ walk in closet for longer stays.
Another upstairs bedroom has two twin beds/ bunk bed and a toddler bed. Grab a book from the shelf and read a sweet bedtime story to your little one before they dose off to sleep. The third bedroom, located in the basement, has a queen bed. There is then a 4th bedroom that is currently a workout room but can be turned back into a bedroom (Large room that is separate and currently being used as an office/ play room can also be another bedroom for a 5th if needed). The unique location of Whaletail Lake is perfect for fishing enthusiasts and is minutes from the Lake Minnetonka Chain.
Also within just a few miles of the house are numerous restaurants and breweries such as Back Channel Brewery, Carbone's, Lord Fletchers, Excelsior Brewing Company, Wayzata Bar and Grill, Maynards Restaurant and many more options. Also should be noted our place is on same lake as Gale Woods Farm which is a great place for weddings or family outings plus walking trails (they have animals & events for the children). Minnetonka Orchard & Painter Creek Winery & Cidery are just a few minutes away as well. Theses are just to name a few.
