Impossible to reach the property manager, and was told day of move in that my unit wasn't available
Never got to live here due to gross mismanagement. The property manager is impossible to reach because she's over 5 properties with no assistant. My "5 business day application" took over a month to get approval on because no one was available to answer questions or clarify what they needed. I would call once in the morning and once in the afternoon and it would take weeks to get ahold the the manager. She never called me back either. After confirming move in dates in person and email, I was... told the morning of that there was an issue with their carpet vendors and that my unit wasn't available for another 3 WEEKS. They told me they knew the week before, but waited until Monday morning hours before I moved in to tell me. Trailer loaded, family and friends have taken off work, and they knew for at least 4 days before hand. After blaming me for picking a later move in date (I did not), and trying to offer me a more expensive unit in a worse position in the building, It took them more than 24 hours to get back with me about temporary housing or any form of support for the situation, by which point myself and my moving crew were all at work. Her excuse for it all was that she couldn't get ahold of her supervisor to clear me for anything, which doesn't explain why she didn't tell me the unit wouldn't be ready until day of, or the fact that she was going to charge me more on my rent than I should have paid because of their system, or why she told me the wrong "new date" my apartment would be ready.
Everything about this place looks perfect and great, but I have absolutely zero confidence that if an emergency came up that I would be able to get it resolved through them.
