Luxe of McKinney

Luxe McKinney has made me feel at home since I originally toured the community. I felt comfortable, the homes looked amazing and the grounds looked well kempt! I originally signed for an 18 month term and have renewed for another term because I've found friends, community, and a great place to call home. It's located right off Hwy 75 which is a straight shot to pretty much everything I do and it's only about five minutes away from Buccee's and HEB. It's a win, win! I lived at Luxe of McKinney for a year, and it was truly an amazing experience. From day one, the staff and maintenance team were always friendly, professional, and quick to help whenever needed. Every interaction was met with a smile, and maintenance requests were handled promptly.

One of my favorite things about living here was the amount of green space throughout the community. Whether I was taking my dog for a walk, enjoying time outside, or just exploring the neighborhood, it felt much... more like a true community than a typical apartment complex.

The resident events were another highlight. They brought neighbors together and helped create genuine connections. I was fortunate enough to make lifelong friends here, which is something I never expected when moving in.

Luxe truly delivers on the upscale service it promises. The whole staff is responsive, answers the phone, and always goes out of their way to help residents however they can.

I absolutely loved my home, especially having a private backyard for my dog and an attached garage for added convenience. The only reason I'm leaving is because I purchased a home. Otherwise, I would have happily renewed year after year.

I'm genuinely sad to be leaving, but I cannot recommend Luxe of McKinney highly enough. If you're looking for a community that feels like home, this is it. Read More

I wanted to wait until I had lived at the Luxe McKinney for a while to make a fair review. I have now resided at my location for one year. I have an 18-month lease because I thought it would be a great place to live. Boy, was I wrong!

Everything is an uphill battle. Whenever you must communicate with the office, no one has the autonomy to make a proper decision. They must relay all requests to Justin, the manager, especially regarding adding fees to your account. I recently was charged for not... having insurance when, clearly, it has to be renewed every year. I contacted them before the fee was added, and they still don’t want to refund it.

I have only interacted with Justin (it wasn’t a bad interaction). Other than that, he acts as if he is there. The ladies are generally friendly but just not helpful. They have a high turnover in the office, so the default excuse is she’s new or they are no longer with us, an excuse for dropping the ball.

The landscaping and outside area look great, which can be quite deceiving. The townhome I moved into was brand new. However, the appliances were not new. My freeze-over freezes and then thaws, so my food spoils regularly. My toilet top is exceptionally cheap, so when you clean it, the cleaner stains the seat beyond repair.

The walls are super thin. My neighbor has a dog. I hear the dog running up and down the hall as if in my apartment. My neighbor told me he could hear my grandchild crying as if it were happening in his place. He has surround sound, and it vibrates my unit, and the loud noise is almost unbearable. I am praying for March to come soon, so that I can exit this place.

Entrance gates have been broken for over a month and not repaired. This is a safety risk to the community that has not been resolved and property management does not seemed concerned. Also, we were not able to move our family in when are our lease began due to maintenance issues with the unit.
