I love it here! The apartments are very big and spacious. The windows seem to be noise cancelling because, despite living smack dab in the heart of downtown oakland once you close the windows you can barely hear the hustle and bustle going on outside.

Will definitely not be renewing my lease. The quality of living has gone down not just at the Uptown, but in the residential area/neighborhood. Dogs are still walking around unleashed after my dog getting attacked, the smells of the hallway

There used to be very nice music that was played in the halls of building 2. Everyone misses that. Also there are 2 doors in the garage that lead to the stairs and elevator that have been off their hinges for quite a while now, still not fixed. Thank you very much for working towards addressing the trash issue.

My floor repair request was marked as completed after almost 4 months whereas nothing was done.
Some security personnel are rude especially when it comes to using some facilities that we clearly are paying for.
The noise is getting louder from people just gallivanting along the streets

Great place to live! There are some small cleanliness and tenant respecting the rules issues, but all in all, decent. I'm starting my 5th year and I would not have chosen anywhere else to live.
