It’s 1:00 AM on a Tuesday night, and the fire alarms have been blaring nonstop for over thirty minutes. I have work in the morning. So do most of the people who live here. Apparently, that means absolutely nothing to management.
It’s 20 degrees outside, and residents—including me—were forced out of the building with no warning, no communication, and no guidance. I’m standing outside in my pajamas, with my dog, because there was no time to grab anything else. This is not an exaggeration. This is... what living here is actually like.
There has been zero urgency, zero transparency, and zero care shown for residents’ safety, time, or basic dignity. Whether this was a false alarm or a systems failure, the lack of response and communication is unacceptable. Emergencies happen—but how a property handles them tells you everything about how they value the people who pay to live there.
This is not the first time residents have been treated like an inconvenience instead of customers. The overall pattern here is indifference. Once they have your lease, your comfort, sleep, and personal life clearly stop mattering.
If you’re considering living here, ask yourself whether you’re okay being woken up in the middle of the night, shoved out into freezing temperatures with no answers, and left to fend for yourself while staff does nothing. Because that’s the reality.
I genuinely hate living here, and I would strongly encourage anyone apartment-hunting to think very carefully before choosing this place. You deserve better than this.
