The Grand at Riverside

The property is constantly dirty, units are dirty. You ask for maintenance help and they will hand wave you for months. Not to mention that they have a roach problem across multiple units and act like it is okay despite it being a health hazard.

The staff is so friendly and helpful and put on some fun little community events that are a blast to attend to

DO NOT RENT HERE!! Do not be fooled by the model you are shown for this property. We showed up to move my son in and were handed keys by an intern at the desk, no management to be found anywhere.
When we first entered the apartment we were overcome by the smell of rotting trash and mold. Upon entering the apartment we encountered a total disaster in the shared "common area". There were piles of trash, stained carpet, holes in the wall, layers of dirt and dust on the walls and shared furniture,… The blinds had been torn to shreds and there was a kenneled dog who had ripped apart the furniture. When we entered what would have been my sons room, the mattress was filthy and there was mold all over the bathtub, toilet and sink.
When we returned to the office to address the issues we were told by the intern that sometimes that apartments are a little messy and that we should take pictures so that we wouldn't be responsible down the road for damage. When asked if we could speak to a manager we were told they were unable to come in and that there were no other available apartments he could move into.
We left without moving him in and he then had to commute an hour to his new job until we could find him somewhere else to live. We are still waiting for a refund for his deposit.
