NOVEL South Capitol Apartments

I've been living at Novel for several months now, and overall it's been a great experience. The building is well-maintained, and the management team is responsive and professional. I really appreciate how clean the common areas are and how quickly maintenance requests are handled.

My only minor complaints are the amount of times I’ve had to request a maintenance request and the delay in information regarding the flooding incident back in the Fall.

Novel is amazing! We've enjoyed our two years here and will continue to renew! Becca, Stephanie, and the rest of the staff make this place a home.

I love the monthly events calendar and seeing regular faces in the lobby each day. Novel is clean and very conveniently located!! Big fan all around.

I’ve lived here for a full year now and am still getting lots of sensitive mail from previous tenants (bank statements, tax forms, insurance documents, etc) and have asked several times if someone could reach out to these previous tenants just to notify them of all of the important mail that has been delivered here. I’ve written “return to sender; not at this address” on at least a hundred pieces of mail and put them back in the mail slot but i still keep getting tons of mail for them every... time I check my mailbox. No one in the leasing office has been able to explain to me why they are unwilling to attempt to contact the previous tenants. If I were those previous tenants, I would want to know and would appreciate some kind of outreach or message about it. The people who help keep the building up and running are fantastic and are always willing to help!! The amenities are also great and always clean and up to date.
