Unprofessional staff
I arrived for my scheduled tour and waited more than 20 minutes without any acknowledgment from the leasing staff. The only person who showed professionalism was the security guard, who went out of his way to notify the office that I had arrived. When a leasing agent finally came in, he informed her that my appointment was waiting. She walked right past me without a greeting, apology, or any sign that she recognized I was there.
I drove 2.5 hours to view this property and was fully prepared to... lease today. Being ignored told me everything I needed to know about how potential and future residents might be treated. Customer service is not optional. It is a basic expectation in any workplace. Whether someone feels comfortable in their job or not, professionalism requires acknowledging people, respecting their time, and showing that you care about the experience you provide.
A simple hello or a quick acknowledgment would have made a huge difference. Instead, the lack of courtesy made it clear that my time and interest were not valued. This was a very disappointing experience.
