Terrible ending to the story.
*Update*
1 star for Wade - Maintenance
I used to live here and work for this company. My review doesn't reflect the actions of other communities. Just 4800Excelsior.
The leasing staff is unrecognizable, nothing short of sketchy and fees-based. My friend and I lived here, sadly, in separate apartments. Her apartment was flooded the first month she lived in her studio. I woke up at 3 AM to help clean up all the water and prevent more damage in the unit. I got nothing, not even a thank you from... Jordan (Property Manager). Nothing. They then moved her to another apartment and agreed -via emails- that if there were any issues she would be able to terminate hear lease and move-out. They then began to take back what they agreed on going all way to denying this agreement and claiming that the emails had been falsified. emails were the only way we could prove this and they chose to say they were fake...Incredible.
They also decided it was now part of their policy to charge for parking even AFTER TERMINATING and paying her termination fee. Why should someone have to pay for a parking space they don't use because they do not live there anymore? That is the entire point of TERMINATING a lease. It does not end here.
In the past, I have helped with various tasks. The property manager would ask "I think I may have forgotten to close the leasing office door, can you check for me?" and off I would go to make sure their things were secure. When my friend's apartment flooded. We could have just walked out and not made an attempt to help drain THE ENTIRE APARTMENT at 3 am... But business is business for these people.
The maintenance team is really freaking awesome though, Wade is incredible and super resident-focused. Cole was the last decent person working in the leasing office..Just choose wisely.

Hello,
We are sorry we remain in disagreement. As you know, sometimes a flood might happen. We were very happy to provide you with a new apartment, with rent set extremely below the market in hopes to make you happy. We wish you the best of luck....
Thank you for your feedback.
